Creative Ways to Use Lip Balm (other than on your lips)
A good lip balm is an absolute ‘must have’ for any beauty collection! However, these little wonder pots have so many unique uses that are seriously underrated. We list our top 5 below:
Use as a Cuticle Balm
Overdue for a manicure? Massage lip balm into your cuticles to keep them soft and to prevent snags until your next appointment. Our Customer Care Specialist Ashlee taught us this one, and it works a treat!
Remove Mascara Smudges
It happens to even the best makeup pros! If you get a smudge of mascara on your skin, grab a cotton tip and dab it into the lip balm. The smudges will come off quickly, and best yet, it won’t affect your foundation, concealer or other bases you may have on.
Heal a dry, irritated nose
Repeatedly wiping your nose because of a cold can cause red, irritated skin that can cause quite a bit of discomfort. Just run a finger over your pot of lip balm and dab on the irritated spot. This will moisturise the skin and provide some instant relief!
Prevent Hair Dye Stains
This trick is a little more commonly known, but boy does it work wonders! Apply a layer of the lip balm along your hair line, it will act as a protective barrier, so the dye doesn’t stain your skin.
Bye-Bye Rogue Eyebrow Hairs
Sometimes there is that one pesky eyebrow hair that doesn’t want to stay put. If you like to keep a rather minimalist makeup collection and don’t feel like investing in a tonne of eyebrow gels and brushes, use some lip balm to fix it. Put a very small dab on your finger to smooth it back into place.
