Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. As a 100% Australian made and family-owned business, we are passionate about protecting the environment in which we live and work. For us, it’s about being better, doing more, questioning old ways and improving processes to be as kind as possible to the planet. That’s why we are particularly proud of our Natural Remedy Collection, which is an environmentally conscious range of natural, plant-based skincare, bodycare and home fragrance products that showcase our sustainable ethos. PACKAGING FOR THE PLANET

Firstly, when it came to developing the packaging of the Natural Remedy collection, we wanted to challenge ourselves to find the most sustainable option suitable for our products. We are proud to say that this was achieved! Our collection uses post-consumer materials for its packaging, which can be recycled again to fight the war on waste. And if you’re wondering what post-consumer packaging is, here is a simple definition of what it includes. It’s materials that consumers have already used and discarded in recycling bins such as paper, plastic, cardboard and aluminium. 

Our Natural Remedy products feature:

✔️Certified 100% post-consumer recycled paper
✔️Certified 100% post-consumer recycled PET
✔️Certified 50% post-consumer recycled PE tubes

As a company, Urban Rituelle uses recyclable glass and reduced plastic packaging whenever
possible. This includes biodegradable void fill, paper and board for shipping orders off to our amazing customers. We have also invested in technology that repurposes cardboard waste, reducing our reliance on packaging. A win, win for the environment and us!

EARTH LOVING INGREDIENTS 

Ingredients that will nourish and protect you, while ensuring a minimal impact on Mother Earth is the focus of our Natural Remedy Collection. We care about what you put on your skin, in your home and in the environment. All our products have been formulated with the highest quality natural and organic ingredients. We love using Australian botanicals where possible, which are ethically sourced and harvested.

It’s also what’s NOT inside that counts. 

Urban Rituelle products don’t include any of these nasties:

In 2020, Urban Rituelle committed to 100% renewable energy, ensuring that our head office and manufacturing warehouse in Sydney is now powered by renewable sources such as wind and solar. We also focus on reducing our carbon footprint by choosing to support Australian ingredient, fragrance and packaging suppliers, while remaining a committed Australian made business.
