Art of Flowers - Behind the Story

How our Art of Flowers collection came to life.

Our vision for the Art of Flowers was to create a collection with gift giving in mind. It had to be beautiful, vibrant with an irresistible fragrance.

Urban Rituelle is known for our quality Australian-made home fragrances and we wanted this to be the feature for Art of Flowers. Our newest glassware addition is a very chic amber ash colour that fits into any decor style. It is elegant and sophsticated which ties in perfectly with this new collection.

We included scented soy candles in two sizes & a fragrance diffuser set. Our newest product, a room and linen mist was also included as these have become so popular and the bottle with a round wooden cap is just so beautiful!

We decided to go with an autumnal palette featuring gorgeous peaches & reds balanced with fresh greens, & the warmth of some rich rusts & browns. We really wanted it to be bold, eye-catching and a little different.

We made some mood boards featuring the most gorgeous blooms and then got to work painting some ideas.

For inspiration in the studio we lit the candles and surrounded ourselves with flowers of course! Mood is so important and fragrance is a powerful & sometimes overlooked way to create atmosphere in any setting. The beauty of a glowing candle also adds to the visual ambiance of a space.

How could we not be inspired by the lavish and alluring fragrance featuring luminous mimosa top notes gracefully leading to heart notes of damask rose & cardamom with velvety base notes of warm musk tonka bean & sandalwood.

A lot of thought & effort goes into creating our fragrances and getting the combinations just right. We love creating scents that bring so much joy. Our team put their heart and soul into creating the perfect fragrance blend for Art of Flowers and with Mother’s Day just around the corner this is the perfect collection to delight.
