We Are Winners!!!! Australian Small Business Champion Award.

We're thrilled & humbled to share with you that Urban Rituelle has been awarded the Australian Small Business Champion Awards in the Beauty & Lifestyle category! Winning this award is a significant milestone in our 24-year business journey, and we couldn't be more proud of our incredible team and their hard work.

The night of the awards ceremony was a nerve-wracking experience. Surrounded by so many incredible small businesses from all across Australia, the competition was fierce. The event was held at the Star City Casino in Sydney, and there were 2000 attendees in the room, many of whom had travelled from all over the country.

The evening began with photos on the red carpet and the excitement in the air was palpable! As the night began, we sipped on champagne, chatted amongst our peers & anxiously awaited the announcement of the winner in our category. Having attended 3 of these ceremonies before, I was not as nervous as I had been at previous events.

I knew that we had put in the hard work and effort to make our business stand out, however I honestly was not expecting to win this national award due to the high calibre competition & being in the company of so many other incredible businesses. When our name was called out as the winner, we were genuinely surprised & overjoyed, and the feeling of accomplishment was indescribable.

Winning the Australian Small Business Champion Awards in the Beauty & Lifestyle category was no small feat, and it took a lot of hard work and dedication to get there.

We owe this incredible recognition to our loyal and dedicated team, who worked tirelessly to make sure that our products and services are of the highest quality. We also want to thank our amazing customers, who have supported us throughout the years and who have helped us to achieve this significant milestone.

We're proud to be a small business success story that contributes to our community and employs many wonderful people who are like family to us.

Winning this award is a huge milestone for us, and one that I am personally so very proud of. Business is not easy, it can be a challenge with incredible highs & sometimes devastating lows.
I honestly did not expect to win this prestigious award & was completely unprepared to make a winning speech. My speech shows my genuine surprise & shock!

If I had prepared a better speech, I would have said this….

I am so grateful to my incredible business partner Scott, who is kind, patient, determined & as passionate as I am, to drive our business to succeed.

I am so proud to be a co-founder of a small business success story that contributes to our community & employs many wonderful people who are like family to us. I am so very grateful for our wonderful team, we could not do this without you. 

Small business is in my blood. I have been inspired, supported & encouraged by my dad Ray, from the very beginning & I know he would have absolutely loved to see us receive this award.

Thanks to my beautiful daughters Leilani & Malia for your patience & understanding. I know that sometimes they get sick of us talking about business and solving problems and sometimes there is no food in the house because we are at work & haven’t done the groceries!!

I would like to express my gratitude to my incredible circle of women, who have been by my side providing endless friendship and support.

Lastly, I would like to thank the Australian Small Business Champion Awards for this amazing honour. This award is a testament to our hard work, perseverance, and passion for our business over the last 24 years!
